Benny Breakiron
Benny Breakiron is a Belgian comic strip created in 1960 by Peyo about a little boy whose peaceful, innocent appearance, charm and good manners covers his possession of superhuman strength. Since Peyo's death it has been continued by other artists and writers. Parts of the series have been published in several languages around the world.
Benny is a blond-haired little boy who always wears a beret, a blue scarf, a red jacket and black shorts. He is polite, honest and well-mannered, pays attention at school (he often quotes his teacher's life advice) and likes to help people in need. He hates crime and injustice and has an intense dislike of firearms.
Classic Comics
Benny Breakiron (originally “Benoît Brisefer” in French language) first appeared in issue 1183 of Spirou magazine in mid-December 1960. His adventures were regularly published in both the magazine and in comic book form and quickly became a great success.
There were 7 comic books created by Peyo and his friends till 1978 when the success of the Smurfs prevented Peyo from working on his other series. In total, 14 comic books of Benny Breakiron were published between 1960 and 2015.

Madame Adolphine is a character from the Benny Breakiron series, and sometimes mistaken for her robot duplicate.
She appeared in "Madame Adolphine", when she met Benny, not knowing who he was. The previous day Benny had been playing with the robot Madame Adolphine, not the real one. The robot robbed a bank, and the police arrested the real Madame Adolphine. Because of her innocence, Benny rescued her from jail.
Jules Dussiflard is a human character who appears in the Benny Breakiron comic book series. He is an independent taxi driver who works in the city of Vivejoie-la-Grande and is friends with the young boy Benny Breakiron, although he has difficulty believing that Benny actually has superhuman abilities.
